Hunting Packages & Fees

The Flying Z Ranch offers hunting packages based on the number of hunts desired.  The basic fees start at $250 and go up to $400 or more, depending on the number of hunts.  If you want to hunt a Trophy, keep reading below!

The Flying Z Ranch Hunting Packages provide hunters with the opportunity to shoot one (1) mature white-tailed doe AND one (1) Management Cull buck*.  The fees also include the ability to take any predators such as coyote and bobcat.  We will pay YOU if you decide to take one of these “varmints”!  (To get paid, you will be required to surrender the ears of the animal, though.)

Trophy Hunts

If you elect to hunt for a Trophy Buck, you will be required to pay additional fees.  There are 3 levels of trophy buck hunts:

  • Management Trophy  

  • Tier 2 Trophy  

  • Tier 1 Trophy

Each buck on the property has been identified in the Flying Z Ranch Buck Catalog.  The catalog contains pictures and lists the level assigned to each buck.  When the Catalogs have been compiled, please see the Catalogs page for more details. 

Other Information

  • Covered trailer parking with electric and water hook up is available for a daily fee. 

  • We also offer a Hunter's Cottage to folks that wish to stay on the property for hunts.  The fees for lodging in the Cottage are in addition to the Hunting Package Fees.  See the “Hunter’s Cottage” page for more details. ​

  • In the interest of trying to help hunters identify a mature doe vs. an older fawn, we have compiled a document for reference.  Take a look at this Doe vs. Fawn Identification document.     

  • We want our guests to be aware that trees on the Flying Z Ranch have been infected with Oak Wilt disease.  Please review the Oak Wilt Information and Acknowledgement for further information about this dreadful disease. ​

  • ​All visitors will be required to sign a HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT which includes the Ranch Rules, Cottage Rules, and the Fee & Pricing schedule.
